Going to the gym should never be boring, train your body to always be guessing what’s next, never get too comfortable. Using free weights the body is able to build a strong core foundation and recognise areas that are less stable or need attention.  By understanding your daily activities and external stressors, I can tailor your workouts for optimal effectiveness, both in and out of the gym. And if you prefer, we can train outdoors for the ultimate mental boost! 

Em’s Experience

When I transitioned from my dance career into this industry it was a no brainer to study fitness and training clients both in groups and 1:1. I love the group setting and still teach many group classes around Sydney, but dedicating my full attention to you in a personal coaching setting really does bring about some significant changes. I want to get to know you and your personality, what drives you and what prevents you from achieving your goals. But really what I want to encourage you to do is throw the scales away and focus on how you feel, not what you see! Movement is medicine to me and always has been. I would love for you to fall in love with it like I have and for it to not be a chore in your day. 

Whether you are training in a group or 1:1 its important to add resistance training for its multitude of benefits.  When building lean muscle mass just a few of the benefits are - strengthening bones (reduced risk of osteoporosis, especially in women) increased insulin sensitivity, meaning the body is better at using sugar which improves metabolic health and lowers the risk of diabetes, increased heart health, improved joint stability and function .

Together, we'll find the most effective ways for you to train, taking into account the stressors and daily activities you experience outside of the gym, ensuring your workout complements and supports your lifestyle (no nervous system burn out over here!)
